Clean Fuels Alliance America: The New Voice of Biodiesel
You may have noticed that the trade association we've worked with for years is going by a new name. The National Biodiesel Board rebranded to Clean Fuels Alliance America in 2022 to reflect the broader scope of the industry — biodiesel, renewable diesel, and sustainable aviation fuel.
Founded in 1992, the organization represents producers, distributors, marketers, and end users of clean fuels across the United States. It sets the BQ-9000 quality standard that Rio Valley Biofuels is certified to, advocates for federal and state policy that supports clean transportation fuels, and publishes industry research and education materials.
The rebrand is more than cosmetic. The expanded membership now includes producers of renewable diesel and sustainable aviation fuel — fuels that, like biodiesel, displace petroleum diesel and reduce lifecycle greenhouse-gas emissions across the transportation sector.
